Roberto Farias (27 March 1932 – 14 May 2018) was a Brazilian film director, producer and screenwriter. He directed 15 films during his career. His 1982 film Pra Frente, Brasil was entered into the 33rd Berlin International Film Festival.

With a professional career spanning over sixty years, he had a big influence in Brazilian cinema as a director, producer, screenwriter, and distributor.
