Early life. Lucas was born Joshua Lucas Easy Dent Maurer on June 20, 1971, in Little Rock, Arkansas, [1] the son of Michele (née LeFevre), a nurse midwife, and Don Maurer, an ER doctor . Lucas grew up traveling the South with his parents, who were antinuclear activists, and his three younger siblings.
Josh Lucas is an American actor, producer and cinematographer who has starred in films such as Sweet Home Alabama, Ford v Ferrari and J. Edgar. He was born in Arkansas, started acting in theater and film at a young age, and has worked with many acclaimed directors and actors.
