English actor and playwright Robert Armin was a leading comic actor in the plays of William Shakespeare. Along with Shakespeare, he was a member of the theatrical company called the Lord Chamberlain’s Men (later renamed the King’s Men). Armin acted with the company from about 1598 to 1610.
