There’s more than just the decorative to Ruth’s work. The intensity of her love for the organic and raw details of natural elements are there to be enjoyed and relished. Her passion shines through with every detail, providing a deeper meaningful projection of the world around us.
Ruth’s design process starts with a creative eye. Using traditional photography to capture textures and patterns found outdoors. These images are then combined using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop where she plays with colourbalance and scale. Each design is digitally printed onto a mixture of cotton and linens.
