A British character actor whose career began on the London stage and spanned more than 65 years, Morris amassed 145 screen credits. His defining film roles came two years apart as Alex’s post-corrective adviser Mr Deltoid in A Clockwork Orange (1971) and as one of the locals in The Wicker Man (1973).
