März 2016 · One of Jess Franco’s rarer titles – at least in any version that is halfway watchable – 1975 production The Hot Nights of Linda – or, as the on-screen title calls it, But Who Raped Linda? – is something of a curio, highlighting both the best and the worst of the great man’s work.

  5. 1st rewatch ---But Who Raped Linda? as the film is called on its title card, is an erotic drama that seems to be inspired by the works of the Marquise De Sade. Because of several recuts and reshoots, this surviving version is a mess in terms of continuity and tone. That's why I think the above quote from the movie fits so well to describe it.
