Phil Crump. Philip John Crump (born 9 February 1952) in Mildura, Victoria [1] is a former Motorcycle speedway rider from Australia [2] who attained third place in the 1976 World Championship. [3] He also won the 1976 Speedway World Team Cup with Australia in the same year.
Phil Crump was a brilliant Australian rider who won four championships and rode for Swindon from 1979 to 1986. He also set track records, won the Marathon and the Superstar events, and made a comeback in 1990.
