Elaine Thompson-Herah (born 28 June 1992) is a Jamaican sprinter who competes in the 60 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres. Regarded as one of the greatest sprinters of all time, she is a five-time Olympic champion, the fastest woman alive in the 100 m, and the second fastest alive in the 200 m.
The Jamaican sprinter ran an Olympic record of 10.61 to win the 100m gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Games. She led an all-Jamaican podium ahead of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Shericka Jackson, who also dipped under 10.80.
