Alexander Anatolyevich Shabalov (Russian: Алекса́ндр Анато́льевич Шаба́лов; Latvian: Aleksandrs Šabalovs; born September 12, 1967) is an American chess grandmaster and a four-time winner of the United States Chess Championship (1993, 2000, 2003, 2007).

Alexander Shabalov is a Latvian-American grandmaster, four-time U.S. Champion, and the 2022 U.S. Senior Champion. Shabalov has represented the United States since 1991 and reached a peak FIDE rating of 2645 in July 1998, ranking 29th in the world. He won his national championships in 1993, 2000, 2003, and 2007.
