Stefano Baldini (born 25 May 1971 in Castelnovo di Sotto, Emilia-Romagna, Italy) is a retired Italian runner who specialized in the marathon. He was the Olympic champion in Athens and was twice European champion (1998 and 2006).

11. Okt. 2010 · Stefano Baldini, the Olympic Marathon champion in Athens 2004, ended his career in 2010 after 27 marathons and two World bronze medals. He thanked his coaches, teammates and fans for their support and said he will remain involved in the athletics world.
