Troy Kenneth Aikman (born November 21, 1966) [1] [2] is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. After transferring from the Oklahoma Sooners, he played college football for the UCLA Bruins and won the Davey O'Brien Award as a senior.
Troy Aikman was the first overall pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1989 NFL Draft and went on to be one of the best QBs in NFL history. He won three Super Bowls, earned six Pro Bowl selections, and set several passing records in his 12-year career.
