In 1918 she married Montague Phippen Porch, who was born in 1877, the second son of Reginald Porch, LL.M., formerly of the Bengal Civil Service. Reginald Porch was the third son of the then head of the family of Porch of Edgarley House, Glastonbury. "Monty" was educated in Bath and at Magdalen College, Oxford.
