Ramzi Ahmed Yousef (Arabic: رمزي احمد يوسف, romanized: Ramzī Ahmad Yūsuf; born 27 April 1968) is a convicted terrorist who was one of the main perpetrators of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the bombing of Philippine Airlines Flight 434; he was also a co-conspirator in the Bojinka plot.
Although the FBI received the credit, Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) special agents actually found and arrested Ramzi Ahmed Yousef, the architect of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Special Agents Bill Miller and Jeff Riner were given a tip by an associate of Ramzi Yousef about his location.
Ramzi Yousef was the mastermind of the 1993 bombing that killed six people and injured thousands at the World Trade Center. He was captured in Pakistan and convicted along with other plotters, while his uncle Khalid Sheikh Mohammed helped plan 9/11.
