Sir Robert Murray Helpmann CBE (né Helpman, 9 April 1909 – 28 September 1986) was an Australian ballet dancer, actor, director, and choreographer.
Robert Helpmann was an Australian-born ballet dancer, choreographer and actor who starred in The Red Shoes, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Mango Tree. He also directed and choreographed several ballets and films, and was a director of the Australian Ballet Company.
