Die vergessene Welt (im Original: The Lost World) ist ein 1912 erschienener Roman des britischen Schriftstellers Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Im Zentrum der Erzählung steht die Erkundung eines geheimnisvollen südamerikanischen Plateaus im Dschungel (siehe Tepui ), das von Urtieren bewohnt sein soll.
