  7. THE CAT GANG is a likeable adventure from the Children's Film Foundation stable, with plenty of plot, action and incident as kids in a seaside village find themselves pitting their wits against a smuggling gang. Pure Enid Blyton stuff here, although with more emphasis on suspense than humour.
