William Devane plays a washed-up ex-cop in 2023 who forces the scientists at his job to send him back in time to 2000, so he can stop his father's murder. But he undershoots and gets there too late, so all he can do is team-up with his younger self to try to solve it.

This movie finally appeared on British Satellite under the title "Race Through Time" and is somewhat similar to the recent cinema release "Frequency".
