Das macht "Seven Times Lucky" noch lange nicht zu einem schlechten Film - aber er ist insgesamt einfach zu unspektakulär, um in einer Liga mit seinen offensichtlichen Vorbildern wie "LA Confidential" oder "The Usual Suspects" etc. spielen zu können. Hinderlich ist außerdem, nebenbei erwähnt, daß der Film um Weihnachten herum spielt - nicht optimal, um sich im Hochsommer ins Geschehen ...
