Kei ISHIKAWA, 1977 in Japan geboren, studierte Physik an der Tohoku University und Filmregie an der Łódź Film School in Polen. Er drehte zunächst Kurzfilme, die auf zahlreichen Festivals gezeigt wurden. 2013 gewann seine japanisch-polnische Kooperation BABY den Bucheon Award des Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF).
