Puck Ekstedt, doctoral student in literature, is invited by her supervisor Rutger to spend Midsummer with him and his wife at their summer house on an isolated island. When he reveals that the young historian Einar Bure will be there too, Puck gladly accepts.
Puck is invited by his university supervisor to celebrate Midsummer on an island in Skogasjön, together with a group of other friends, including Einar Bure. The summer night is treacherously beautiful but Puck finds one of the female guests murdered.
Synopsis. Puck has been invited by her tutor at the university to celebrate midsummer at his secluded cottage on an island together with a group of friends, among them Einar Bure. Puck and Einar are having a secret relationship, and he is the reason she says yes to the invitation.
