The Mighty Treve is a 1937 American drama film directed by Lewis D. Collins and written by Albert R. Perkins, Marcus Goodrich and Charles Grayson. It is based on the 1925 novel Treve by Albert Payson Terhune.
A young man and his sheepdog, Treve, are given a job on a sheep-ranch by the niece of the owner. The uncle is an eccentric with a cowering fear of dogs even though dogs are required as herders on sheep ranches. The dig saves the rancher's life and then wins a number of prizes at a dog show.
