  5. Sylvia Telles bio. In 1955, she began her professional career by performing in the vaudeville Gente de bem and champanhota at Rio de Janeiro’s Follies Theatre. She also recorded a 78-rpm for the Odeon label that included Amendoim trradinho (Henrique Belltrao), Desejo (Garoto Vasconcelos, Jose Vasconcelos, and Luiz Claudio).
