Jon-Erik Kellso, a trumpeter, began playing professionally in Detroit, Michigan in which he was born in 1964. Jon started playing at an early age, in a big band when he was 11, and in the International Youth Symphony when he was 13. He also performed in a concert with Wild Bill Davison in age 17.
