William Wellesley-Pole, 3. Earl of Mornington GCH PC (* 20. Mai 1763 in Dangan Castle, County Meath, Irland; † 22. Februar 1845 in London) war ein irisch-britischer Marineoffizier und Politiker, Münzmeister der Royal Mint von 1814 bis 1823 und Generalpostmeister von 1834 bis 1835.
Geoghegan, Patrick M. Pole, William Wellesley- (1763–1845), 3rd earl of Mornington , chief secretary for Ireland, was born William Wesley on 20 May 1763 at Dangan Castle, Co. Meath, second of four sons of Garret Wesley (qv), professor of music, politician, and 1st earl of Mornington, and Anne Wesley (née Hill-Trevor).
As Lord Wellesley had no legitimate children, the English barony of 1797 and the marquessate became extinct on his death in 1842. He was succeeded in the other titles by his younger brother William Wellesley-Pole, 1st Baron Maryborough, who became the third Earl of Mornington.

Am 2. Dezember 1799 wurde er zum Marquess Wellesley, of Norragh, in der Peerage of Ireland erhoben. Beide Titel erloschen, als er 1842 ohne lebenden männlichen Abkömmling starb. Der spätere dritte Earl, William Wellesley-Pole, wurde am 17. Juli 1821 zum Baron Maryborough, of Maryborough in the Queen’s County, im irischen Adel erhoben.
