L'arrière-petit-fils de Ludovico, Philippe Antoine d'Ornano (1784-1863), fils d'Isabelle Bonaparte, comte d'Ornano et de l'Empire en 1808, général de division en 1812, chambellan de l'Empereur en 1814, fut fait maréchal de France en 1861 par Napoléon III [2].
