Lamar Seeligson Smith (b. November 19, 1947, in San Antonio, TX) is a former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Texas' 21st Congressional District from 1987 to 2019. On November 2, 2017, Smith announced that he would not seek re-election in 2018.
