Sophie Adenot, née le 5 juillet 1982 à Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire ( Nièvre ), est une militaire, ingénieure et astronaute française. Colonel de l' Armée de l'air et de l'espace, elle y est pilote d'hélicoptère puis pilote d'essai . Le 23 novembre 2022, elle est nommée astronaute par l' Agence spatiale européenne.

Elle a commencé sa formation de base d’un an en avril 2023 et obtenu sa certification d’astronaute au Centre européen des astronautes de l’ESA le 22 avril 2024, ce qui la rend éligible à des missions spatiales.
Sophie Adenot (born 5 July 1982) is a French engineer, helicopter pilot, and astronaut. A French Air and Space Force helicopter pilot with the rank of lieutenant colonel , Adenot became France's first female helicopter test pilot in 2018.
