Victor Halberstadt (born 16 June 1939) is a Dutch economist of Jewish origin. He was a Crown Member of the Social-Economic Council (1972–2004), president of the International Institute of Public Finance (1987–1990), director of Concertgebouw (1988–2011) and other significant organizations.

Victor Halberstadt (Amsterdam, 16 juni 1939) is een Nederlandse econoom en hoogleraar openbare financiën aan de Universiteit van Leiden. Hij was actief voor de Partij van de Arbeid. Van 1965 tot 1974 was Halberstadt werkzaam als wetenschappelijk hoofdmedewerker Openbare Financiën aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam.

6. Nov. 2018 · 06 November 2018. Emeritus professor Victor Halberstadt has been honoured with the Cross of Honour of the Order of the House of Orange. Erekruis van de Huisorde van Oranje. Halberstadt received the decoration for his many services to the Royal House over a long period of time.
