Elizabeth Crockett (née Patton, born May 22, 1788; died January 31, 1860) was an American female farmer, housewife, and widow, who is recognized in history as the wife of Alamo defender Davy Crockett . Early life. Elizabeth was born in 1788 to parents Robert and Rebecca Patton in North Carolina.
