Sihle Zikalala (born 6 August 1973) is a South African politician from KwaZulu-Natal who has been the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure and a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since 2023, representing the African National Congress.

5. Aug. 2022 · Zikalala announced his resignation on Friday, days after he reportedly told Ramaphosa he planned to quit after losing the contest for ANC chairperson for the province. The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal said it accepted his resignation with pain and difficulty and nominated three candidates for interviews.
5. Aug. 2022 · Zikalala offered his resignation to the ANC provincial executive committee, which accepted it and started the process of finding his replacement. He was defeated by Sboniso Duma in the ANC KwaZulu-Natal elective conference and failed to make the PEC cut.
30. Jan. 2023 · The former KwaZulu-Natal premier and Cogta MEC will leave the provincial government by Tuesday to take up a national post. He was among the ANC national executive committee members who topped the list of additional members.
