Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda (* 1490 in Pozoblanco, Córdoba; † 17. November 1573 ebenda) war ein spanischer Humanist, Historiker und Übersetzer.
Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda (1490 – 17 November 1573) was a Spanish humanist, philosopher, and theologian of the Spanish Renaissance. He is mainly known for his participation in a famous debate with Bartolomé de las Casas in Valladolid, Spain, in 1550–1551.

Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda wurde 1490 in Andalusien geboren. Nach Studien der Philosophie und Theologie in Alcalá wurde er Stipendiatdes Spanischen Kollegs in Bologna. Dort traf er auf führende Köpfe des italienischen Renaissancehumanismus, so etwa Papst Clemens VII., der ihn nach Rom holte.
