18. Apr. 2024 · Zhu Youlang was a claimant to the Ming throne after the Manchu forces of Manchuria had captured the Ming capital at Beijing and established the Qing dynasty (1644–1911/12). A grandson of the Ming emperor Shenzong (reigned 1572–1620, reign name Wanli), Zhu was given the title of the prince of Gui.

Zhu Youlang (3rd), Zhu Changying's fourth son. he initially held the title Prince of Yongming Comm. (永明郡王). He succeeded the princedom in 1646. After his enthronement, the princedom was inherited by Zhu You'ai's son.
Zhu Youlang, Prince of Gui and last serious claimant to the Ming throne, was delivered into the custody of Wu Sangui, a Chinese general who had once served the Ming, and Manchu prince, general, and high minister of state, Aixinga.

Jan. 2014 · Zhu Youlang 朱由榔 (1623-1661), known as the Yongli Emperor 永曆 (r. 1646-1661), was the last emperor of the Emperor Shenzong 明神宗 (r. 1572-1619) and inherited his father's title of Prince of Gui 桂王. In the early Chongzhen reign 崇禎 (1628-1644) he was given the title of Prince of Yongming 永明.
Zhu Youlang 朱由榔, der Prinz von Gui, war ein Enkel des Ming Kaisers Wan Li. Er ernannte sich 1646 unter dem Namen Yongli selbst zum Kaiser. Von den Qing wurde er bald nach Yunnan zurückgedrängt, und floh schließlich nach Burma, wo er 1662 hingerichtet wurde.
