Heinz Hopf immatrikulierte sich am 22. September 1919 von der Universität Breslau kommend an der Universität Heidelberg. Hier studierte er im WS 1919/20 und im SS 1920. Er wohnte in dieser Zeit in der Bergstr. 27a.

The Collected papers of Heinz Hopf were published in 2001 with a Preface written by Beno Eckmann. The 1271 page book, published by Springer-Verlag, Berlin, also contains appendices by P J Hilton, P Aleksandrov, B Eckmann and H Hopf.
