Jennifer Doudna is a chemist and biologist who discovered CRISPR-Cas9, a tool for genome editing. She is the Li Ka Shing Chancellor’s Chair in Biomedical and Health Sciences at UC Berkeley and leads the Innovative Genomics Institute.
