is a Disney Junior short series. It follows the adventures of a superhero sandwich named Sam and his sidekick Salad Lad, as they battle an assortment of villains who promote junk food.
•Sam Sandwich (voiced by Wally Wingert): The main character, an anthropomorphic sandwich who is a superhero promoting healthy eating. He uses a wide array of gadgets to stop villains, such as jet boots, and his spaghetti blaster. He also has a sandwich sense, which allows him to detect evil.
•Salad Lad (voiced by Scott Menville): A broccoli-cherry tomato hybrid who is Sam Sandwich's sidekick, Salad Lad is an inventor, creates the gadgets Sam Sandwich uses and helps him out in his adventures.
•David (portrayed by Cade Cannon Ball): The team's mission control. He informs the pair of bizarre food-related happenings around town.
•Sweet Tooth (voiced by Cree Summer): Sam's nemesis, an anthropomorphic cupcake who wants to make children eat only sweets. She is a master of disguise and can throw bits of the frosting on her head to entrap foes.
•Big Cheese (voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz using a Brooklyn accent): Big Cheese is an anthropomorphic person made of cheese who wants children to eat oversized food, and in large portions.
•Salty Pup (voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz): Being a sword-welding dog pirate with beady eyes and a salt shaker for a peg leg, Salty Pup likes overly salted foods.
