Susan Winslow (Darleen Carr) was a freelance art designer and Mr Joseph X Callahan (William Bogert) was her boss. Susan had a baby boy called Edmund Hillary Winslow (named after Sir Edmund Hillary, who was the first to scale Mount Everest) but had decided not to marry the father of the child because she didn’t love him.
