Kisho Kurokawa Bis 1957 studierte er an der Universität von Kioto Architektur und gründete mit 26 Jahren sein eigenes Architekturbüro. 1959 gründete er mit Freunden die Metabolismusbewegung, deren Architekturauffassung auf dem Bild der lebenden Zelle basiert.
