The O'Neill dynasty ( Irish: Ó Néill) are a lineage of Irish Gaelic origin that held prominent positions and titles in Ireland and elsewhere. As kings of Cenél nEógain, they were historically one of the most prominent family of the Northern Uí Néill, along with the O'Donnell dynasty.

O'Neill (Ó Néill), Aodh Reamhar (Aodh Mór) (d. 1364), king of Tyrone, was a younger son of Domhnall O'Neill (qv) (d. 1325), king of Tyrone. His succession to the kingship was the result of the deaths by violence of three of his brothers, in 1318, 1319, and 1325, the last of whom, Cú Uladh, died in the same year as their father.
