Baptisé à Ville-Marie le 20 juillet 1661, Pierre Le Moyne d’Iberville est le troisième des onze garçons et deux filles nés du mariage de Catherine Thierry-Primot et du marchand montréalais Charles Le Moyne de Longueuil.
