Jim Field hat bereits in jungen Jahren mit dem Zeichnen begonnen und seine Leidenschaft für Cartoons entdeckt. Jim Field. Jim Field stammt aus Südengland. Er studierte an der Hull School of Art and Design und arbeitete bei einer auf Animation spezialisierten Werbeagentur. 2011 veröffentlichte er sein erstes Bilderbuch, das mit dem Booktrust Roald Dahl Funny Prize ausgezeichnet wurde.
