Revolver ist das siebte Studioalbum der britischen Gruppe The Beatles, das am 5. August 1966 in Großbritannien veröffentlicht wurde. In Deutschland erschien das Album bereits am 28. Juli 1966, hier war es einschließlich der Kompilationsalben deren elftes Album.
Aided by the 1987 international CD release, which standardised its content to the original Parlophone version, Revolver has surpassed Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) in many critics' estimation as the Beatles' best album.
