UCAS points (also known as UCAS Tariff points) are a way of measuring the relative value of all post-16 qualifications in the UK. The UCAS Tariff assigns a numerical score to the possible grades that can be achieved in each type of qualification. The higher the grade you achieve, the higher the number of points you'll receive.

4. Aug. 2023 · Each A Level grade is worth a certain number of UCAS points. An A* is worth 56 UCAS points, while a grade E is worth 16 points. Points are also awarded for AS Levels, although these are worth much less, with an A grade at AS only worth 20 UCAS points.
