Bedales School is a public school (co-educational private school, boarding and day) in the village of Steep, near the market town of Petersfield in Hampshire, England. It was founded in 1893 by Amy Badley and John Haden Badley in reaction to the limitations of conventional Victorian schools and has been co-educational since 1898.

Bedales School. Bedales has been the liberal alternative since 1893 (co-ed since 1898). Age 3 to 18; 70% of seniors board. We are disciplined but not rule-bound (no uniform!); relaxed but respectful (everyone uses first names). Creative arts and outdoor work are strong.

The school offers GCSEs, A-Levels, and its own curriculum called BACs. Bedales School achieves consistently good academic results despite not being overly selective. In 2021, 65% of GCSE and BAC grades were 9-7 grades and 21% of A-Level grades were A grades.
