6. Sept. 2021 · Im Oktober 1967 nehmen Iron Butterfly unter Leitung von Gründer Doug Ingle und dem kürzlich verstorbenen Schlagzeuger Ron Bushy in Hollywood einen ganzen Haufen Songs auf, darunter auch ein seltsames Monstrum namens In-A Gadda-Da-Vida.
The original members were Doug Ingle (vocals, organ, formerly of Jeri and the Jeritones and Palace Pages, Iron Butterfly's forerunner), Jack Pinney (drums), Greg Willis (bass), and Danny Weis (guitar, also of Palace Pages). The group were soon joined by vocalist and tambourine player Darryl DeLoach.
