Saga is a Canadian rock band from Oakville, Ontario. Bassist and keyboardist Jim Crichton and Welsh-born vocalist and keyboardist Michael Sadler are the principal songwriters . Saga has had numerous line-up changes over the years. Ian and Jim Crichton were the only two original members who appeared on every album.

Juli 1954) spielten in einer Progressive-Rock -Band namens Truck, die Jim Crichton nach einem Angebot der Band Fludd verließ.

He worked at Victoria University of Manchester and was the vice-chancellor of the University of Leeds. He was also a champion of the English public school system.
