Michał Lorenc (Polish: [ˈmixaw ˈlɔrɛnt͡s]; born 5 October 1955 in Warsaw) is a Polish film score composer, best known for his work on films Little Rose (2010), Bastard (1997), Blood and Wine (1996) and 300 Miles to Heaven (1989). He is currently considered one of the most important contemporary Polish film score composers.
Michał Lorenc (ur. 5 października 1955 w Warszawie [1]) – polski kompozytor muzyki filmowej, kawaler Orderu Orła Białego (2016). Życiorys. Związki z muzyką rozpoczął gdy miał 15 lat. Rok później w studenckiej bazie w Bieszczadach poznał Wojciecha Belona, Jacka Kleyffa i Czesława Bieleckiego.
A self-taught musician, he composed original scores to many Polish and foreign films. His music was awarded at festivals in Poland and abroad; his music to Blood and Wine by Bob Rafaelson was selected by 20th Century Fox for Oscar nomination.
