Southport is a seaside town in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton in Merseyside, England. At the 2021 census, it had a population of 94,421, making it the eleventh most populous settlement in North West England. Southport lies on the Irish Sea coast and is fringed to the north by the Ribble estuary.
Southport is a former constituency. It ceased to exist following the boundary change in 2024. It was located in the North West region of England. The seat was last held by Damien Moore (Conservative) between 8 June 2017 to 30 May 2024. The dissolution of Parliament took place on 30th May 2024.
