A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, he is best known to audiences for his numerous supporting roles in high-profile films; including Irishman Stephen in Braveheart, dimwitted mobster Fitzy in The Departed, hitman Mr. X in Wanted, and Albert Runcorn in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.
At the age of 27, he became one of the top track & field coaches in the US. Coaching three Olympians, they won two bronze medals, and one set the world record in the women's javelin. Retiring from coaching at 29, David took up acting, appearing in a number of movies and television shows.
