Ernestine Anderson (November 11, 1928 – March 10, 2016) was an American jazz and blues singer. In a career spanning more than six decades, she recorded over 30 albums. She was nominated four times for a Grammy Award.

14. März 2016 · SEATTLE (AP) — Ernestine Anderson, the internationally celebrated jazz vocalist who earned four Grammy nominations during a six-decade career, has died. She was 87. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office said Sunday that it received a report that Anderson died of natural causes Thursday at a nursing home in Shoreline.
