How to Plant Forget-Me-Nots. These flowers are very easy to grow. They have two main requirements: Grow in a location with partial shade. Moisten the soil before sowing the seeds. In colder regions, sow seeds outdoors close to the last frost date in spring. You can start seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost date.
